How To Install SMF Forum
- Download SMF From Homepage
- Open Your Desired FTP Client (FileZilla / WinSCP ) And Login With FTP Details OR Open Your File Manager From Hosting
- Upload & Unzip Downloaded SMF In Your Desired Directory
- Navigate To That Directory In Your Browser ( For Example : YourDomain.Com / YourDomain.Com/Forum )
- Click On Continue Button. 'Writable Check' Will Be Performed.
- Enter Forum Name (Title) And Forum Url. I Am Installing It On Localhost , So My URL Is localhost Followed By SMF Path
- The Next Step Is Database Population . You Don't Need To Do Any Thing In This Step . This Step Will Take Some Time As There Will Be Database Table Creation & Value Insertion.
- Now You Need To Enter Admin Details ( Username , Password & Email ). After That Enter You Database Password & Click On Continue Button
- Done. SMF Forum Will Be Installed Successfully. Open Your Forum By Clicking On 'Your Newly Installed Forum' Or By Visiting URL Where You Have Installed It
